Turkey
is indeed a very unique destination: It is a cradle of civilizations,
inhabited by many kingdoms and empires over thousands of years; it has
played a significant role in the early history of Christianity, and has
later welcomed Jewish people who were escaping from persecution in Europe.
Today, it is a secular country with a predominantly Moslem population.
What
is more, Turkey is also a beautiful land surrounded by three seas, gorgeous
shore lines, great mountain vistas and valleys, amazing flora, and some
very exceptional natural wonders. With such a great wealth of colors on
one’s palette, it is a pleasure to come up with many different itineraries
and create memorable tours that will make indelible impressions on the
traveler.
We
have listed samples of our itineraries for you; we can come up with many
more, or customize these to fit your time, interests, and budget.
- FEATURED
PRIVATE TOUR ITINERARIES: The first part of this section
offers a sampling of our tours that cover the most important sites in
Turkey that one must see. The second part provides an overview of our
“Special Interest Tours”, including religious, culinary,
history, and shopping itineraries, among others. You will find many
more in our portfolio on photography, bird-watching, arts and crafts,
ancient theaters, etc.
- SHORE
EXCURSIONS & CITY TRIPS: When you take a taste of your
favorite food, you will want to eat more of it! Shore Excursions in
Turkey are like your first bite. Most people fall in love with Turkey
in their first contact with that country, many times in the course of
a half-day or full-day Shore Excursion from a cruise ship, and most
come back to see more of Turkey on a longer tour.
- COMPACT
TOUR PACKAGES: If you have only a few days of available
time, you could visit the most important regions of Turkey in a matter
of days; one way to organize this is to link our Modules
in different combinations. Again, we can customize them in such a way
as to best suit your preferences.
- BLUE
VOYAGE MODULES: Conde Nast Traveler described
the Blue Voyage as the “Voyage of a Lifetime”. You sail
in the unpolluted waters of the Mediterranean and the Aegean Coasts
of Turkey, where the shoreline is dotted with ancient cities (about
2,000 years old), some of which are accessible from the sea only! No
television or radio! Total relaxation!
